A Look at the World Ventures Founders

World Ventures founders Wayne Nugent and Mike Azcue wanted to combine the best of the internet and the travel industry to form a travel based network marketing company. They launched it in December of 2005 from Las Vegas. The company now runs completely in the black, allows its members to travel at discounted rates, and allows them to sell the travel packages themselves.

Today, President Robert Oblon and Chief Marketing Officer Dan Stamen provide leadership. Grant Merz is director of their Dream Trips program. This program allows its members to travel at a discount, through World Venture?s purchase of bulk trips for a greatly reduced price. Members can choose from vacations in the US, cruises, and stays at luxury hotels abroad.

The company Rovia is World Ventures exclusive travel provider. Rovia is partnered with Barcelo Resorts, Elite Island Resorts, Outrigger Resorts, MLT Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Riu Hotels & Resorts, Melia Hotels & Resorts, GoGo Vacations, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, and Carnival Cruise Lines.

The World Ventures founders envisioned a company that would sell not only affordable vacations, but would allow members to become part of the company themselves. Members can become Leisure Travel Consultants, allowing them to sell vacations through Rovia. It does not make them travel agents, just Rovia resellers. Members are compensated for recruiting others to sell the products, and when people buy travel through their website.

Plenty of LTCs get lackluster results, and leave the system in frustration. This is because even though world wide travel is an eight trillion dollar a year business, it is highly competitive, and competes on price. The worst part is what LTCs are taught, though, they are taught to market their websites to people they know, like coworkers, friends, and family members.

The number of visitors a website receives is a function of knowing how to drive traffic to it. Word of mouth through a person's circle of friends is not going to get the job done. Marketing websites takes specialized knowledge. Luckily, we live in a time where there are plenty of marketing education courses to choose from.

Plenty of programs are available over the internet, creating flexible schedules and a learn at your own pace kind of environment. People can learn while working a full time job, or even while staying at home with the kids. Today, many marketers are making a full time income through their marketing efforts. But they had to learn the fundamentals first.

The World Ventures founders had good intentions when they started the company. Unfortunately, they aren't giving their members the marketing knowledge they need to be truly successful.
